Now her friend is missing, war is coming, and her body is already running out the clock. Laua has one mission left: infiltrate the Royal war camp, save her people, and not die for nothing before the sickness takes her. She's already written the goodbye letters. She just didn't prepare for Tirin.
She needs to follow him. Trust him. And stay the hell away from him.
In a war built on lies, the most dangerous thing in Verlore is the man who makes Laua want to survive.
